Preparing for September

Induction

The first part of the welcome process in September will be registration, enrolment and induction. We’ve been able to digitise a majority of registration and enrolment but there is an expectation that all students attend an in-person induction session with their relevant Programme Managers. Specific dates to follow, although this is expected to take place towards the end of the week commencing 9th September.

Our degree programmes are validated by the University of Greenwich, you will also be asked to complete a separate registration for this.

Each new student will also be sent, over the summer, an equipment and reading list, relevant to your programme, so that you can prepare for the coming academic year.

Student Finance

If this is your first university-level degree then you may be entitled to apply for financial support via Student Finance England. Further information can be found at Student finance for undergraduates.

If you are self-funding, you will be asked to set up a payment plan at on campus enrolment and pay a deposit. If you need any guidance. Visit our website to find out more on Course Fees & Funding.

Financial Support

In addition to course fees, students need to factor in living costs and accommodations in their financial planning. Studying for a degree is an investment in your future, so at Plumpton, we are clear that financial worries should not put students off studying.

If you have any financial concerns, please talk to our expert team about funding advice and guidance. For example, bursaries assist students facing financial hardship in education. All students can apply, and if the eligibility criteria are met, a bursary can help with bus travel, accommodation, course equipment, meals, and educational trips.

Bursary applications for 2025/2026 are now OPEN Visit our website to find out more on Bursaries.
